Our client, one of the top 100 3PLs in the United States, is looking for a Site Manager to run one of their prestigious order fulfillment centers in South Florida.

The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for managing and directing all aspects of business and operations to obtain optimum efficiency, manufacturing, delivery, and warehouse operations. This position will report to the General Manager of the US Business Unit. The Site Manager will drive continuous improvement projects and take responsibility of the Site's operational and administrative perspective.
Role you will play:
Oversee all facility operations including, Production, Reverse Logistics / RMA Maintenance, Security, Safety, and Shipping.
Manages the process through supervisors and, in some cases, team leaders. Overall staff size normally includes at least 3 supervisors, business management representatives and 50-200 direct labor employees (permanent and contract).
Responsible for employee hiring, training, evaluation, salary increases, promotions, and terminations.
Maintain and analyze Distribution and Fulfillment Center key metrics; improve departmental performance measures through use and interpretation of continuous improvement tools.
Assist in the preparation of the site's annual budget, achieve optimal performance and expense levels to meet the annual budgetary plan.
Communicate with customers to address concerns such as load quality, damages, item availability, backorders, shortages, new products, etc.
Manage and coordinate various programs essential to operating procedures (training, safety, housekeeping, cost reduction, quality, employee involvement, security, etc.)
Ensures operational targets and KPI's are achieved, and where possible exceeded, through effective control, monitoring and review.
Responsible for all risk management on site, including health, safety and environment.
Background Profile
Bachelor's degree in Business or equivalent required. MBA preferred.
7+ years of broad logistics, warehousing, distribution, fulfillment and supply chain management with minimum of 5 years experience in a leadership role.
Business savvy and an understanding of revenue, forecasting, P&Ls etc.
Bilingual (Eng. & Spanish) would be preferred
Demonstrated ability to perform effectively deliver results working with cross functional teams.
Demonstrated results in Lean operations, six sigma, and driving process improvements.
Demonstrated expertise in warehouse systems and inventory practices.
Ability to work effectively with clients to resolve client and business issues.
Strong familiarity with MRP/ERP systems, preferably SAP
The ability to: Interact and build relationships with all levels, internally and externally
Able to work flexible work hours.
Some travel may be required.
