JOB DESCRIPTION
The Operation Manager will be responsible for assisting the Warehouse Manager in running the daily operations of the 201,000 sq ft California Distribution Center. This position will supervise 5 Group Leaders and approximately 50 employees and is responsible for the receiving, inventory control, picking and packing and the shipping departments.

Responsibilities include the following:
• Helping to set, track and measure safety and performance goals for the warehouse.
• Maintain the physical condition of the warehouse, grounds and material handling equipment.
• Assist in maintaining a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following and enforcing standards and procedures to comply with legal and company requirements.
• Communicates with other department personnel to ensure coordination of warehouse activities with activities of other functions such as sales, records control and purchasing.
• Assume full responsibility in the absence of the Warehouse Manager. 

REQUIREMENTS 
• 3 - 5 years of experience in operations/warehouse.
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or logistics management preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Effective team building skills and a proven track record of success.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and exercise sound judgment.
• Good organizational skills and flexibility in a changing work environment.
• Proficient in MS Office software.


COMPENSATION
• $65,000-$75,000
