This President of Dedicated Fleet Operations reports to the CEO and provides leadership, planning, oversight and management for all areas of Fleet Organization strategy, business development, operations, safety, and equipment. The selected candidate will be charged with working with customers, team members, and vendors to develop and grow revenue and contribution margin, in an effective and cost-efficient way.

Lead the business with an entrepreneurial, ownership mindset
Develop, implement and manage short and long-term strategic and tactical plans to achieve the Business Unit's goals and objectives
Identify opportunities and implement plans to expand the Business Unit's service offering, client base, market share, and geographic reach
Effectively employ a mastery of negotiation skills to ensure that a balanced decision is being reached to meet customer, carrier and ITS Logistics’ business needs
Identify and develop high potential managers to ensure excellence in management
Define the organization structure, roles, responsibilities, and authority limits of the Business Unit's leadership team
In concert with the CFO, lead the development of the Business Unit's annual operating, headcount, and capital budget
Drive the development, implementation, and administration of performance-based incentive plans for the Business Unit
Increase Company exposure and stature through participation in industry and community organizations

Previous experience in profitably building a multi-customer dedicated asset-based business is a must
Bachelor’s degree in business / operations management, transportation / logistics or related field and at least 10 years in the transportation industry, five of which at the Sr. / Executive level
Executive level financial/business acumen as it relates to running a fleet operation
Demonstrates a record of accomplishment in execution and evolution in executive level transportation leadership in a multi-vertical business environment
Proven experience profitably growing a multi-customer asset based dedicated fleet model (i.e., commercial leaning with the resources to drive growth)
Comfortable leading at all levels of the business (e.g., participatory leadership style, hands-on with drivers, etc.)
Ability to formulate a sound business plan to reach revenue and EBITDA goals
Familiar with best practices in truck-based technology improvements, from process automation with office/drivers to integration of new tractor technologies
Ability to lead with confidence, create alignment among management and attract and develop a world-class team
Demonstrated experience of identifying and developing a strong bench of successful leaders
Ability to direct a team towards a cohesive set of strategic objectives and maintain efficient timelines in the completion of projects
Demonstrated success delivering best in class service and safety performance
Proven experience developing successful driver acquisition/retention programs across multiple geographies
