Our client, Performance Team is an industry-leading third-party logistics provider with nearly 30 years of experience in Warehousing, Distribution, Consolidation and Transportation. PT has 20 domestic hubs strategically located near major ports, interstate highways and intermodal rail lines allowing them to provide a variety of services to an array of industry verticals including mass retail, apparel, and footwear companies.

Santa Fe Springs, CA

Will report to Director of Harbor Drayage – Nationally.
Responsible for the coordination of 40,000 container moves out of the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach on an annual basis utilizing owner operators and company drivers.
Responsible for client interaction and customer service – nationally.
Work closely with harbor management while participating in port meetings
Further develop and enhance the strategic business plan to accomplish the established growth and profitability objectives
Work with current Management training and development programs to ensure a world-class logistics provider
Establish best practices through Six Sigma while driving profitability through KPIs
Participation and interaction with senior-level Executives of our clients
Participate in the development and execution of contract proposals
Responsible for billing/invoicing and drayage administration team

5+ years trucking (LTL/TL terminal operations), linehaul and drayage experience a must
Strong experience dealing with invoicing, customer service and back office activities
Must have experience working with owner operators and company drivers
Bachelor’s degree preferred
3PL Operations, Warehouse, and Transportation experience
Yard Management System and Transportation Management System
